These SHORTS run VERY true to size. If inbetween sizes at all or if your child normally needs more room in the hips/waist/bottom area I would size UP! Remember that these are suggested sizing guidelines. Just like adults- every child's body type is slightly different and parents and children have different expectations on how they would like things to fit. Our suggestions are a general guideline but you know your child's body best!
